To become a member of the TexPlex CC, you first need to create an account on the club forums. Membership is limited to people who live in the DFW area only. Please read all the forum rules before you sign up.
Rules:
- Don't bring your drama (personal attacks, etc.) to the forums or club events.
- We require active membership. If you sign up and never post or participate in any activities, your account will be deleted. A week’s warning will be given if a decision has been made to delete your account. (We will allow certain circumstances; i.e. lack of internet connection.)
- The group’s name may not be used in any walk-ons, skits, or competitions.
- Do not share the official contact list with some one who is not on it themselves. You must attend a meeting in order to get on the contact list.
- Do not share someone’s personal information unless they have expressly given you permission, i.e. real names, home address, phone numbers, etc. Go directly to someone if you need some of their information.
- Bringing alcohol, drugs, or any sort of controlled substance to a club meeting or party is forbidden, and will result in a ban.
- RSVP to any event you attend in the appropriate forum. This includes any non members you will be bringing as well, such your ride or friends. Meetings held at members houses may have limited space, and the host may need to cap attendance. Hosts reserve the right to refuse members /tagalongs who did not RSVP. Events in public places are open to all, but RSVP so that we will have a general idea on how many people to expect.
- When we have events or meet ups in public places, behave in a mature manner.
- We require that in order to join, you must be at least sixteen years of age.
- Those who are under the age of eighteen must have parental consent to attend club events. .
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate membership for any reason deemed necessary. Rules are subject to change without notice.
